The ten kings of hell saw that Wukong looked very fierce and were scared and did not know what to do. Wukong said: “Since you are sitting on the throne, you should have some spirit. Why don’t you know that I am here? I have become an immortal and can live forever. Bring me the book of life and death!” The ten kings of hell quickly ordered the judge to bring out the book of life and death to check.
Wukong climbed up to the Senluo Hall and looked until he found his name under the number 1350 of souls. He casually picked up a pen and crossed out all the names of the monkeys, saying: “This is great, great, you will never have anything to do with me from now on.” After saying that, he fought his way out of the underworld.
