Chapter 6: Guanyin Temple's battle for the precious kasaya.

The Black Wind Monster had escaped from the slope just now because he didn’t have his weapon. Now he was on his own territory, and he wasn’t afraid. He put on his black gold armor, picked up his black tassel spear, and came out of the cave to fight with Sun Wukong. They fought until noon, when the Black Wind Monster said he wanted to eat lunch, and then fight again. Sun Wukong didn’t say anything, just kept fighting. The Black Wind Monster had no choice but to turn into a clear wind and escape back into the cave.

No matter how nasty Sun Wukong cursed outside the cave, the Black Wind Monster wouldn’t come out. Sun Wukong was so anxious that he had no idea what to do, so he had to go back to the Guanyin Temple to see his master first. He came back to the temple, ate some food casually, and then rode on a cloud to Black Wind Mountain again. He saw a little demon carrying a wooden box with an invitation card inside, hurrying forward. He killed it with a cudgel.

Sun Wukong opened the wooden box and saw that it contained an invitation card from the Black Wind Monster to the old monk of the Guanyin Temple. He realized that the old monk had long been in contact with the monster. Sun Wukong had an idea, and immediately changed into the old monk’s appearance, and swaggered to the cave entrance. The little demons saw that he was a familiar person, and quickly opened the door to welcome him.

The Black Wind Monster didn’t notice anything wrong, and helped the old monk into the hall. Before they could say a few words, a patrolling little demon came in and reported that the messenger had been killed. The Black Wind Monster immediately understood what was going on, and stabbed Sun Wukong with his spear. Sun Wukong dodged, and laughed a few times, revealing his true face, and fought with the monster.
